Ultrasonic Testing - Level 1 course
This course has been developed in line with SNT-TC-1A to develop individuals as ASNT Level - I to perform and report Ultrasonic Testing (UT) results of metals under supervision of Level II and other engineering materials.
The NDT Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Testing Level I training course will provide theory lectures and practical training to provide the candidate with a preliminary understanding of Ultrasonic Testing. The course will encourage group discussions around practical problems and provide field expertise on how to resolve them. At the end of this course the candidate will understand how to perform inspection of samples for Ultrasonic Testing. The course will cover –
Basic principles on Ultrasonic Testing.
Inspection and measurement of samples.
Familiar with the scope and limitation of the method
Introduction to ASTM and ASME standards and specifications.
At the end of the course, candidate will be appearing for a Level I exam. Each candidate will be a certified NDT UT Level I upon successfully clearing the exam.
Ultrasonic Testing - Level 2 course
